Albuquerque Museum presents the 28th annual ArtsThrive: Art Exhibition & Benefit (formerly known as Miniatures & More), a 6-week invitational exhibition of over 100 artists. "Contemporary, experimental works by both established and emerging artists combined with more traditional representational painters and sculptors makes this exhibition an ongoing opportunity to introduce ourselves to work beyond any one genre." (Albuquerque Museum's Director, Andrew Connors).   Proceeds from art sales and sponsorships provide valuable funding for the Museum's educational programs for children and families, Museum exhibition support, and acquisitions, as well as for the participating artists!

American Jewelry from New Mexico (June 2 - October 14, 2018)
Albuquerque Museum
2000 Mountain Road NW
Albuquerque, NM 87104

Albuquerque Museum presents a major traveling exhibition with accompanying book published by the Museum of New Mexico Press, surveying, through approximately 300 spectacular objects, all aspects of jewelry adornment from prehistory to the present. Rather than focus on a single culture group, individual artist, time period, or medium as have most jewelry exhibitions and publications, American Jewelry from New Mexico tells the stories of diverse heritages simultaneously, as artists live, in concert, trade, and adaptation with their neighbors.

Public Selects
Nearly 100 Albuquerque-area artists opened their studios to the public in March. The top 12 artists, carefully selected by over 2000 visitors, are now included in New Mexico’s first crowdsourced exhibition. They represent a wonderfully disparate array of styles and media, and each demonstrates the vitality of contemporary art in the region.
